117gPRYARGYRITE, RUBY SILVER CRYSTAL SPECIMEN

This is a superior quality specimen of " Pyrargyrite xls  on quartz crystals"  we just picked this up in a old collection in Montana. It had a bunch of Butte specimens in the collection. I am not sure where it is from? It had some idaho specimens also. I believe one of those  two states??

I know one thing. It is museum worthy specimen. It has a few red bladder crystals on it but the big one is so impressive. 5 .4 cm. Long. It penatrates through the pure white quartz crystals. Wow mother nature did this one right. This will stand out in and mineral collection. It always amazes me how these minerals survive the mine extraction without being damaged. We wi be listing many more top mineral specimens in the upcoming month. Watch for more Butte Montana minerals and wallace Idaho. Silver lover's !
