This is a super rare piece of actual core sample from the Stillwater mine, James Mansfield dike. Montana. This is a very cool material.  High grade ore. It is jet black with specs and small flakes of platinum, palladium sulfide ores. These rare minerals are. braggite, Pentlandite and pyrrhotite.

Visable thought the piece. It takes a great polish. 

It would make a very unique piece of jewelry or a super specimen. Polished on both sides.
